The Bidding Document in English may be inspected at the Lanka Salt Limited, Service Secretariat, 1st Floor, 44/5, Narahenpita Road, Nawala OR Lanka Salt Limited Procurement Section, Mahalewaya, Hambantota from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on working days until 21.10.2026.
If interested, the same Bidding Document may be purchased at the same location upon payment of a non-refundable fee of LKR 25,000.00 (Twenty Five Thousand only) for the document. The method of payment will be in cash OR could be requested the Bidding Document from above addresses after credited with any branch of the Hatton National Bank in favour of Lanka Salt Limited A/C No. 068010003183 of Hambantota Branch.

Bids must be delivered to the address: Lanka Salt Limited, Service Secretariat, 1st Floor, 44/5, Narahenpita Road, Nawala on or before 11.00 am on 22.10.2026 and late bids will not be accepted.
Bids will be opened soon after closing of bids in the presence of Bidders or their authorized representatives who are requested to be present at the opening of bids. "Supplying of Packing Materials" should be written on top left-hand corner of the envelope.

The bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Security obtained from any commercial bank approved by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. The amount of the Bid Security values is stated in the above table. The validity of bid Security shall be up to 18.02.2027 and it should be in favor of Lanka Salt Limited. (Bid validity shall be up to 21.01.2027).

If the contract value exceeds LKR 5 million, the bidders are mandatory to submit Public Contract Document, as per the Public Contracts Act No. 03 of 1987.
